Screening of Applications
All applications are screened promptly by our HR team. We are looking for applicants who have the skills
and experience necessary for the position applied for. We will notify all applicants of their application
status within 10 days of applying for a position.
Phone interviews are the first step in our interview process. Once you complete the phone interview and are
considered a good fit, you will be invited to meet with us in person.
An in-person interview is our chance to learn more about your skills and abilities, and also provides us
with a chance to discover your personality. Please come prepared to not only answer questions but also to
ask questions, express yourself and help us understand why you are the best candidate for the position. The
hiring manager will have the final say on who will continue in the interview process and ultimately be
considered for hire.
Ultimately only one candidate can be hired for a position, and we hope it will be you! After interviews
have been completed, we will respond as promptly as we can. If you applied but were not invited to
interview, you will receive an e-mail. If you did interview, we will contact you by phone (whenever
possible) to let you know the outcome.
If we don’t hire you the first time, please don’t get discouraged. We will continue to consider your
application for any other open position for which you may be qualified for 30 days. After that, you should
reapply for any open position you are interested in.
After the Offer
Once a job offer has been extended and accepted, we will conduct a final review of your eligibility for
employment with UFirst Credit Union. Because we are a financial institution, you must be in good standing
with your banking institution.
