Your future starts with a college Education

UFirst Offers $20,000 in College Scholarships Each Year

Since we began in 1956, we've built our credit union around supporting education. We believe that engaged educators and supported students are the bedrock of our community and the key to a brighter future. That's why we provide resources to schools and educators, why we sponsor educational programs, and why we award $20,000 each year to college students.

Each semester, we award up to $5,000 to each scholarship recipient.

Each year, UFirst Credit Union awards $20,000 in scholarships to collegiate students. Those funds are awarded to twelve different individuals: two (2) scholarships in the amount of $5,000, and ten (10) scholarships in the amount of $1,000.

Each regular semester (Fall and Spring), UFirst will award six scholarships to qualified applicants. This means that if you are not selected to receive a scholarship in, for example, Fall Semester, you can apply again for the second round of scholarships that will be awarded the following semester in spring.
